Avanti is a School of Choice that educates Olympia-area teens in a progressive, non-traditional, experiential, and performance-based learning environment. Avanti’s mission is to offer students an academically rigorous and relevant curriculum within a relationship-based educational environment. The school program is built around fostering desired Habits of the Heart and Mind, or simply, the Avanti Habits, which are a set of values and skills that serve students now and throughout their lives. Theses core habits are: thinking critically; making connections; effective communication; thinking creatively and finding inspiration; striving for quality; reflection; resiliency; compassion; mindfulness of self and others; and working with integrity.

SCHOOL INSTRUCTION HOURS:
- Avanti has a unique schedule: students attend 3 hours a day; 4 days a week. AM and PM programs offer students choice and flexibility. Academic support and supplemental opportunities (various workshops) are offered on Fridays.

POST-SECONDARY:
- Transition Academy: The Transition Academy is a program for post-secondary students with disabilities with the goal of providing more education and career-building opportunities after high school. This program is house in the Esther Knox Building with Avanti High School.
COLLEGE:
- Running Start: Running Start is a program designed for juniors and seniors who choose to enroll in Community College in order to earn college and high school credit simultaneously for courses completed.
TRANSPORTATION:
- There is no district provided transportation.
