ABOUT
Centennial Elementary is located near Yelm Highway and Boulevard and is Olympia’s largest (but by no means large) elementary school. It was opened in 1989 (Washington’s centennial!) to replace ye olde McKinley Elementary.Has a DLC (Developmental Learning Classroom) to serve students with moderate cognitive delays in a non-integrated setting. In 2026-27, Centennial will have AVID (Advancement via Individual Determination) curriculum, which teaches organizational, communication, and self-advocacy skills to help with college and career-readiness.

Centennial is near the 70, 76, & 52 buslines.Centennial does not offer AM Y-Care.
