They used to have the multi-age alternative Alki program, but have since turned to an arts focus in recent years. HOPE Program (Help Our People Excel) is a program that helps students with significant behavioral disabilities that is housed at Reeves, and, in 2026-27, AVID (Advancement via Individual Determination) curriculum will be added. At the middle school level, AVID supports students by teaching essential skills like writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization, and reading to help them succeed in rigorous courses and prepare for high school.

Reeves also has a highly capable lottery program called RAMS (Reeves Advanced Math and Enriched Science).

TESTIMONIALS

Whenever I tell people how Reeves is an awesome school, the reply is, “You don’t usually hear ‘middle school’ and ‘awesome’ in the same sentence. And yet it’s true! The community is so passionate about the students. From families, teachers, staff, and volunteers, it’s a school with real heart.

It is such a relief to have a school that feels like a second home to my daughter, especially during turbulent middle school years when kids are navigating a lot of change and independence. Our experience has been nothing short of wonderful. The small size has a strong community feel where students are more than a number. My daughter isn’t lost in the crowd, I know she feels known and valued. The teachers and administration (shout out to Ms. Zarate who seems to be at EVERY school function) are dedicated and passionate. My daughter is surrounded kind and motivated peers which makes for a positive and active environment. Most importantly I know she feels physically and emotionally secure which frees her up to focus on her personal and academic growth. We are so grateful to be a part of this school community.
