ABOUT
Olympia High School is the oldest and largest high school in Olympia, and is set in the very walkable South Capitol neighborhood. A host of alums from Dan Erickson, creator of the TV show Severance, to singer, Rickie Lee Jones, graduated from OHS. They also boast the oldest student-run paper in the state, the Olympus.

Both comprehensive schools offer CHiS (College in the High School) credit, AVID (Advancement via Individual Determination) at the college preparatory level, CTE (College & Technical Education) vocational opportunities, and the Life Skills Program for students with profound disabilities.

Unique to Olympia High school is the (AP) Advanced Placement AP offers students the opportunity to pursue college-level studies while still in high school. It also gives them the opportunity to show they have mastered the advanced material by taking AP exams.

OHS has a host of clubs and extracurricular opportunities, as well as athletics, that include: Football, Cheer, Boys Cross Country, Girls Cross Country, Girls Golf, Drill, Girls Soccer, Girls Swimming, Boys Tennis, Volleyball, Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Bowling, Gymnastics, Boys Swimming, Boys Wrestling, Girls Wrestling, Baseball, Boys Soccer, Fastpitch, Girls Tennis, Boys Track, Girls Track, Unified Soccer, and Boys Golf.
TRANSPORT & CHILDCARE
Currently, near the 13 and 68 buslines. Changes to 52 and 76 buslines on May 3, 2026.

Oly Bears Preschool – OHS houses the Oly Bears program for students in the Early Childhood Education program.
