POST SECONDARY
The Olympia School District has been committed to providing transitions services to all students with disabilities after during, before, and after their K-12 education.
Transitions services look different for every student and teachers, families, community organizations, and students are all involved in the process. Components of the plan can be related to vocational goals or higher education, as well as life skills and independent living. Transitions Academy is housed in the Avanti building on the Eastside, and Project SEARCH is at The Evergreen State College in West Olympia.
