October 3 @ 7:30 am – 8:30 am
Learn how your support of the Foundation is cultivating student potential in Olympia’s public schools!
Student & Community Well-Being efforts that support grants for counselors, social workers and others, as well as events that benefit our entire community.
Principal’s Emergency Fund allows school staff to immediately assist students who have urgent basic needs – anything from shoes to eyeglasses, groceries, utility assistance, or partial rent. Removing systemic barriers helps ensure students continue to come to class, stay engaged in learning, and ultimately, feel successful in their education and life.
Opportunity Grants enhance student learning, close opportunity gaps, and meet needs that the district, schools, and parent organizations cannot. Commonly awarded requests include: library books, extracurricular opportunities, art projects, musical instruments, guest speakers/assemblies, field trips, school gardens, P.E. equipment, learning tools for students who have fallen behind due to the interruption to school caused by the pandemic, and so much more!
